Frequently Asked Questions

A question before ordering? Here are the answers to the questions our customers ask us most often — without beating around the bush.

🦵 Will it work on MY knee?

"I have patellofemoral pain syndrome, is this suitable?"

This is exactly what the strap was designed for. Placed just below the kneecap, it applies targeted pressure to the patellar tendon and reduces the traction that causes pain with each bend. This is the most common use among our customers.

"What about arthritis?"

Let's be clear: the strap does not cure arthritis. No accessory does. It acts mechanically, by distributing the pressure exerted on the joint during walking, climbing stairs, or prolonged standing. Many people affected by arthritis use it for these moments. If you have a diagnosed condition, talk to your doctor or physical therapist — and try the strap: you have 60 days to get a refund if it doesn't help you.

"Worn meniscus, synovial effusion, ligaments: does it work?"

The strap supports the patellar tendon. It does not replace treatment, rehabilitation, or surgery. For these conditions, it can provide complementary comfort, but it is not a solution in itself. Ask your healthcare professional for advice before using it.

"Can I run with it?"

Yes. The strap is thin and can be worn under pants or leggings without hindering movement. It's even a common use: power walking, running, hiking, cycling.

"Is it suitable for overweight people or those with large knees?"

The strap adjusts with hook-and-loop fasteners along its entire length: you can adjust the tension and leg circumference to your morphology. If, despite everything, it doesn't hold correctly on your knee, the 60-day guarantee applies, and you will be refunded.

"I already wear a knee brace, should I put the strap over it?"

We recommend you try the strap alone first. Many of our customers came to the strap precisely because their knee brace was too tight, too hot, or slipped. The strap acts on a specific point, where it pulls, instead of compressing the entire knee.

🎯 Why a strap rather than a knee brace?

A classic knee brace compresses the entire joint. This is useful in some cases, but it's often hot, bulky, and slips after a few hours.

The patellar strap, on the other hand, does only one thing: it is placed under the kneecap and relieves tension on the patellar tendon. This principle has long been used by physical therapists and athletes. Less material, less heat, targeted action.

📦 Order and delivery

"How long will it take to receive it?"

Allow 2 business days for preparation, then 8 to 12 business days for delivery. We ship from our partner warehouses: this allows us to offer the buy 1 get 1 free offer rather than the price practiced in pharmacies. You will receive a tracking number as soon as the package is dispatched.

"I ordered the 1+1 offer and only received one strap."

Your items may ship from two different warehouses and arrive in two packages a few days apart. If the second one doesn't arrive, write to us at contact@inolyo.fr: we will send it to you.

"Do you deliver to Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Canada?"

Yes, in all five countries. For Switzerland and Canada, customs duties are covered by Inolyo: you have no fees to pay upon receipt. For France, Belgium and Luxembourg, taxes are included in the price paid at the time of order.

"My payment was refused, what happened?"

No amount is charged in case of refusal. This is usually a verification by your bank (3D Secure). Try again, or write to us: we will help you finalize your order.
